The story behind this photo ... 

So we stuffed every last inch of space with as much supplies as possible. Mainly food but some backup supplies for hiking in case we lose something. Lots of extra shoes and all the stuff for Amee to live on the van! lol. 

We drove 10 hours to PA to spend a few days with our great friends, the Owen’s. This is Ian and Emily. 

She is pregnant with their first child and due in about a couple months! How exciting. So we are hanging at their parents place for a couple nights and plan to go to church with them on Sunday before heading out to Duncannon to hike in the afternoon. 

The trip to PA was uneventful except that it rained the whole way. I pray that the rain leaves before we start cause dealing with wet clothes and the potential for hypothermia is not what I want to deal with on the trail. 

So the boys are playing with Ian’s younger brothers who are about our boy’s age. 

Tomorrow will be a rest day so stay tuned.
